Vintage African Bone Craving With Handle

A vintage bone carving made in Africa, probably in the 1950s or 60s based on other items that were at the estate sale. Unlike most similar carvings it has a wooden handle; it depicts a figure (possibly a deity) with its arms across its stomach and wearing a headdress or crown. It is adjoined to another piece of bone by a resin or glue. The handle is not held in by resin so, while snug, it could slip out if you hold it by the handle. The piece with the handle stands 7 3/8" tall while the carving is 4 3/8" tall and about 2" by 1". I am unaware of what type of bone it is and of its precise origin in Africa.
