Vintage African 3-D handcarved mask Carved out of either a lightweight wood or possibly a traditional gourd? Tan/gold-ish in color with beige/cream accents Shows a face with a lizard-like creature crawling down from the top Hollowed out back has been painted black Has a small hook for hanging which is NOT secure and should probably be replaced if you intend to hang it Measures approx 19" tall, 5.25" wide, 2.75" thick In fair-to-good condition with no major damage but many little knicks and scuffs as shown in the photos. The black paint on the back is scuffed/scratched. Still a beautiful piece of art that displays well.
