Handmade, hand-painted soapstone bowl from Africa. These bowls are often carved from Kisii stone and painted in Kenya.  This decorative piece of African folk art is signed by artist and dated 1993 on base. Material: Soapstone, known for its durability and beauty. Handcrafted. Measures 6" in diameter. Excellent vintage condition. A few light scratches. See photos.
