This item is being sold to provide beds for my parents' girl's school in Isicheno village, Kenya.
My parents aquired this item whilst living/ working in Africa, where they started their own school/ lunch program in Kenya for students that were too hungry to learn.
They have put dozens of young Kenyans through high school and college, and many of those young people have now gone on to become teachers themselves! Right now, my parents are raising money to build sleeping quarters for the girls' school, so they don't have to make the long trip from home everyday.
I am not sure whether this is a Zulu Knobkerrie from South Africa, or a Kenyan Massai Rungu. My father is from South Africa, so he calls it a knobkerrie, but the beading style looks more Massai to me. Either way, it is a traditional African stick weapon used in both war and hunting.
A loop can be added to make it a wall decor item. It's a vintage functional art piece, handmade in Africa.

About how long is it? And how can you mail it?

@ellen_chacon Hi! I It's 17 inches, and I would just send it in a box. It wouldn't be difficult.

@ellen_chacon And it only weighs 0.4 lbs, so it's way under the limit for postage weight.
