This is a vintage Alabaster stone ashtray, made in Italy, circa 1960's - 70's. It is very heavy natural stone (8 lbs!) with a varnish coating. 3 cigarette rests around the edge. The outer edges have been left in a natural, rough look. Beautiful earthy tones in the stone. Felt pads on bottom. Foil label on bottom states Genuine Alabaster Made in Italy. Measurements: 8 1/2" diameter x 2" tall Condition: This is a true vintage item with wear from use and age. ***The varnish in the center of the depression has chipped away - see photos.
