Vintage Albert Nipon Summer Dress

The. Most. Stunning. Dress. I. Have. Ever. Found. Union made tag is dated ‘68-‘84. Based on the style, my guess is 70’s. Designed by world renowned visionary Albert Nipon. This dress is everything. Geometric print accentuated by intricately placed panels to create a visual masterpiece. Interior branded lace trim along seams. Crisscross back with zip and hook and eye closure. Sweetheart neckline and ruffle hem. It. Has. Pockets. I could photograph this dress all day. It’s a true vision and absolute one of a kind. Has two loops for a belt that have been sewn with precision so if you choose not to wear a belt, the loops are not noticeable. Small mark on the front left a foot from the hem as shown in photos. Imperceptible due to the visual intensity of the print. Tagged a 6 but it fits me — usually size 4. My bust is 34C and it is quite tight around the ribs/bust. Best suited for A,B,C 32 in my opinion. Underarm to underarm 14 Waist at smallest 13.5 Hips 18.5 Length 52 Comparable listings: A shorter halter version of this dress sold for $135 USD years ago.
