Vintage 1960’s Alfred Meakin Hereford Platter, Cup and Saucer Three Piece Set Gorgeous set produced by Alfred Meakin circa 1960’s features hand engraved fruit and trim patterns under the glaze. The design shows fruit, berries, leaves, and wheat in shades of yellow, red, orange, green and grey on a white base with sage trim. The set is in good condition; no chips or cracks on the platter or saucer. The cup has a stable crack in the handle, and the cup and platter have minor manufacturing paint flaws shown in photos. Measurements: Cup: 2 3/4” inches height x 3 3/8” inches diameter x 4 1/4” inches length (including handle) Saucer: 5.5” inches diameter Platter: 11 1/8” inches length x 9 3/8” inches width Vintage china/items often have small manufacturing flaws and/or signs of use; these do not affect the integrity of the item but is something to be mindful of when purchasing.
