Vintage Algo velvet dress dress (never worn)

Brand: Algo (Canadian made) Vintage from the early 1990's This was my dress but I had never worn it. Perfect condition. Beautiful quality of stretch velvet This dress was mine from when I was a teenager. I never wore it so it has never been washed. My parents house was a smoking house. However this dress has been in a smoke free environment for the last 22 years. Just a warning for anyone who might have smoke allergies. 23" outer sleeve 26" from underarm to hem Size 7/8 Pit to Pit 15" remember stretch. See my notes below of my opinion on this measurement Empire waist laid flat 13" remember stretch! Would fit a 33" to 35" bust. empire waist to hem is 22" Black (photos come across with a purple undertone but it's actually a very dark black) Please note that I do not like to use pit to pit measurements, it is not at all accurate. I am a clothing designer who drafts patterns. Pit to pit is only useful for flat made garments (no darts to allow for bust on women) such as t-shirts. Even then if comparing a tshirt measurement to another tshirt you would need to factor in whether it is meant to stretch on or not as well as the amount of stretch the fabric has. I will provide them occasionally strictly so that if you have a very similar garment at home you can somewhat compare. The best method is to look up the manufacturer's size chart when possible and take your own measurements accurately using online instructions and a soft measuring tape
