Vintage Alia Mexico Silver & Inlaid Abalone Hummingbird Brooch/Pendant Combo -

This beautiful brooch/pendant was created by Alia of Mexico and is comprised of Alpaca silver, abalone shell, resin and enamel. Gorgeous iridescent abalone pieces have been inlaid into his wings, body and tail. The brooch has a pin back for pinning it on clothing, but it also has a bail on the back and can be worn as a lovely pendant on a chain. The brooch/pendant measures about 2 1/4 inches long, 1 15/16 inches wide and weighs 15.4 grams. It is signed "Alia",and with the word "Mexico" on the back of the piece.
