Vintage Aljean Wool Plaid Skirt

This vintage skirt by Aljean of Canada is made of 100% pure virgin wool and features a beautiful red and white plaid with accents of yellow and blue/green. The skirt is wrap-style and has two exterior buttons that are covered in the same plaid, as well as a hidden interior button to keep it closed. There is also a large silver tone pin towards the middle of the front opening, also to help keep the skirt closed as intended. This skirt has some pleating and falls at or just below the knee. The tag says (1976) Ltd, suggesting this piece comes to us from the 1970s. This piece is marked as a (vintage) size 16, and measures like a modern size large (depending on where it is worn).
