Vintage Alpaca Silver Abalone Shell Earrings Mediterranean Style

Beautiful silver earrings featuring a diamond shaped piece of abalone shell. Vintage to the 80s when i bought them with a matching bracelet. The abalone is turquoise, with shimmers multi-colour and iridescence. Southwestern vibe. I don't know what the hooks are made of - if I recall (and that's a long time ago) they are surgical steel). Very pretty earrings. I’ll update the photos after a more thorough cleaning. Measures length 2.5 cm from circle at top of earring width 2.3 cm at widest portion of shell.
