Vintage Anna Greta Eker Silver Modernist ‘Jester’ Silver Ring

Vintage Modernist Sterling Silver ring by Anna Greta Eker of Norway. Created between the late 1950s to the 70’s, I can’t say the exact year of creation but I’ve had it my jewelry box for over 40 years, This ring is called 'Jester' as it looks like the bobbles on a jesters hat. Makers mark AGE + STERLING 925 +NORWAY (mark for the Plus studio and Anna Greta Eker) Norway’s acclaimed Anna Greta Eker’s iconic JESTER Sterling Silver ring, circa 1960. This vintage Mid-Century Modernist ring features 3 interlocking ball tips. Anna Greta Eker and her husband Erling Christoffersen were important designers for PLUS – the renowned Applied Arts Center of Fredrikstad, the home of Scandinavian Modernist jewelry from 1958 until the 1970’s.
