Up for offer is an antique 1850's cotton quilt in wonderful vintage condition.
This beautiful quilt was purchased by my in-laws at an estate sale in 1969 in St. Jacobs, Ontario, Canada.
A lovely Strippy pattern, it was handmade by a Mennonite woman named Elizabeth Weaver.
It's condition is excellent, especially considering it's age. No apparent damage, marks or issues - absolutely beautiful condition.
This quilt was appraised for $2299.00 in 2004 by Diane Shink, and the original paperwork will come with it (with stamped, embossed seal - see last listing photo.).
Please note that since the appraisal is only valid for three years, you would have to get another one done if you wish to have one for insurance purposes.
It has been kept in a cedar box since it's 2004 appraisal, so the condition has remained the same.
