Vintage Antique Art Deco Ladies Wittnauer 17J 10K Gold Plate Watch - Working

WITTNAUER Ladies' Vintage Watch with Sunburst Dial, Swiss 17 Jewels, 10K Rolled Gold Plate case, steel back. This is a small, delicate, dressy Art Deco women's wristwatch from the Wittnauer Watch Company. The case is a deep and rich 10k rolled gold plate, and the watch face has a champagne-colored sunburst dial with raised gold applied numbers. Dating from the 1940s or 1950s, this watch is in very good condition. It winds, sets, runs, and keeps time as it should. The watch comes with its original metal stretch band. The band does not appear to have lost any elasticity and will easily stretch over a small or medium-sized hand. The band is very cleverly made with rectangular metal beads that slide inside each other. These beads move with the band when it is stretched so that you cannot see the elastic beneath.
