Vintage / Antique Asian Grass Raincoat & Hat

This is from a friend's estate. It was used as a wall display I understand it is made of woven palm or rice grass and was used for centuries by farmers, fisherman and peasants as a raincoat. Coat measures approximately 42 inches x 42 inches (102 cm x 102 cm) The hat is 20 inches in diameter (50.8 cm) There is no sizing but it looks pretty small.
