Up for offer is an antique 1870's cotton quilt in wonderful vintage condition.
This beautiful quilt was purchased by my in-laws at an estate sale in 1969 in St. Jacobs, Ontario, Canada.
A lovely Log Cabin pattern, it was handmade by a Mennonite woman named Elizabeth Weaver.
Made for a traditional 3/4 sized bed. Also fits standard twin or twin XL.
It's condition is excellent, considering it's age.
I see only one small stain (as per photo provided).
There may be more - a small spot here or there, but nothing very noticeable.
There is one small navy patch applied as noted in appraisal.
This quilt was appraised in 2004 by Diane Shink, and the original paperwork will come with it. (with embossed stamp, see last listing photo).
Please note that since the appraisal is only valid for three years, you would have to get another one done if you wish to have one for insurance purposes.
It has been kept in a cedar box since it's 2004 appraisal, so the condition has remained the same.
