This beautiful Arita Imari bowl made in Japan displays replicates of the antique bowls made during the Meiji Period 1868-1912. Imari ware is a Western term to describe the coloured styes of Artia ware which was a Japanese export porcelain made in the Hizen Province in northwestern Kyūshū. This porcelain type were exported to Europe in large quantities, especially between the second half of the 17th century and the first half of the 18th century.
This dish is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs, discolouration, crazing, etc.
