A Comadco Reproduction, Printed in Canada
Frances Ann Hopkins painted these on a series of canoe trips taken across the North-West with her husband while inspecting Hudson Bay posts. A graphic depiction of the earliest method of transportation in North America.
The Voyageurs were French Canadian canoe men who manned the canoes and later York Boats which carried the explorers and fur traders, supplies and furs of New France and later, British North America across the length and breadth of the continent.
Prints are in excellent condition with no fading or stains. The prints are highly detailed and realistic.
