Vintage Artisan Handmade Mitts featuring HBC Stripes pattern convertible fingers

These were a gift by a friend who likes to support local artisans. I'm assuming these were one of her purchases as don't see any labels and the material feels like something handknit?? No size but I'm typically a L/XL and these fit me well. The design is quite impressive and better than any of the true HBC ones! Condition issues: Will be some nubbing given the fabric (2nd last pic). Also, 1 stray red yarn that can be pushed back through (last pic). Lastly, full disclosure, I've only worn once or twice & haven't wanted to try to wash so you can assess and see whether a hand wash is required.
