Vintage Artisan Leather & Brass Belt Buckle

This belt buckle is made of brass (or a brass tone metal) and has a hinged opening to feed a belt through, and a hooked peg to secure it. The front of the buckle features an embossed leather inlay with a southwestern-style pattern, which may have been done by hand. The belt has normal wear including marks in the surface of the metal throughout, and tone darkening in the metal (especially on the back). There is some colour variability in the leather, but there are no big scrapes, gouges, or missing pieces.
