Vintage Authentic Signed Chipewyan Indian Birch Bark Basket

Vintage large handmade Birch Bark Basket with lid made in Northern Saskatchewan. Handcrafted folded birch bark basket box container held together with spruce root. This amazing basket has a rectangular folded base approximately 11 1/2” x 9” and an oval top approximately 13” x 12”. Approximately 8 1/2” tall with the lid. Both lid and curved handle are made of two-ply birch bark, and the handle is 2” wide. Leather straps may need to be adjusted in order to secure the lid, currently left as found, and lid is unattached. Lovely bark knots in the basket and especially on the top of the lid. Some Spruce roots are not connected around the outside of the lid. There is one knot hole near the bottom of the basket, as shown. Very hard to see but the bottom of the basket is signed “Mrs Campbell / BEAUVAL SK / CHIPEWYAN INDIAN”. I have added two photos of the writing, with one photo enhanced.
