Vintage Authentic embroidered sage green pashmina

This is gorgeous and Vintage. Delicate embroidery and gorgeous tassel detailing on each end make this piece special. This was purchased while on a work trip in India 20 years ago. This is directly from the manufacturer and a high end item. There are no tags. I would say it’s cashmere I would also guess it is hand embroidered. You can see from the pictures the slight irregularities in the embroidery detail. I included a picture of the underside to show this. Full edge finished off on the sides with loop stitch. It’s clear the end tassels are lovingly done by hand. Most people do not realize that “manufacturing” in India for the most part is done by hand. Items are farmed out to small villages where they specialize in detail work. Beading and embroidery for instance. This is completely done by hand. Very skilled artistry. It’s quite an experience to see this in person. I used to be a buyer and would travel to India twice a year to place production orders for a large retail chain here in Canada. This would look incredible with any light summer dress. Or as a statement piece with a light shirt and jeans.
