Stunning blown art glass magnifying glass in box by Pier 1 Imports. Clear glass over blue opaque glass embedded with abstract aventurine of green and orange. Crimped textured edges • 6.5" long x 2" wide • Loup is 2" diameter • No longer available Most likely imported from Italy. Refer to photo example of a similar piece from Murano. Aventurine is a glass making process involving rolling molten glass over metallic flakes and then casing it in clear glass. It is popularly used by the Murano master glassmakers. Excellent condition as it has been stored in the protective box. Box has a couple blue spots on the top. Refer to photos. C1
