Vintage Avon 1876 Cape Cod Vintage Glass Red Cruet Set W Salt & Pepper Shakers

Vintage Avon 1876 Cape Cod set with a glass cruet with salt and pepper shakers. It is ruby red glass and measures about six inches high. A "cruet" is a small bottle with a flat bottom and narrow neck. They have a lip to pour liquid out and were often used for oil, vinegar, or juice. The cruet measures approximately 6" tall, including the lid, and the shakers measure 4in tall. The deep red color and classic style of the Cape Cod Collection make for a wonderful table presentation at the holidays, or any time you want to impress at a special meal.
