This vintage cardigan by Axcess is knit with a single button (snap) front closure. It has small pleats at the waist and wide, flared 3/4 length sleeves. The exterior has a floral pattern in muted blue and yellow, which is clear and bright on the interior (see picture 3). There is normal vintage wear but no issues that would affect wearability. This piece doesn't have a size marked (no tag), but it measures like a size 3X or so. kimb24601 What’s the armpit to armpit measurement of this sweater? It’s gorgeous but my bust size is quite large and I want to make sure it’ll fit before I think more about ordering it. Also- how stretchy is it, if at all?

quirksvintage @kimb24601 hi there! the armpit to armpit measurement (pit to pit) is 30.25" when the side seams are laid flat, and there is some overlap with the front fabric. the fabric has some stretch to it because it's knitted, but I don't know that there is specifically any elastic content

quirksvintage @kimb24601 I just double checked the stretch in the sweater and while it does stretch in all directions, the most visible/significant stretch is more up/down than side to side, if that makes sense!
