Vintage BLUE GOOSE Arctic Polar Expedition Down Parka Size M

Here is a vintage BLUE GOOSE down filled parka in beautiful condition. Made in Winnipeg, I believe this brand dates from the 1990s. It is a premium grade down filled parka constructed to withstand the harshest winter temperatures. The shell is tan coloured cotton. The lining is nylon. The heavy and generous fill is 80% down, 20% feathers. This is a ruggedly constructed coat. It has storm cuffs, an interior storm belt at the waist and a tunnel style hood. The closure is a heavyweight zipper followed by extra strength Velcro. This coat has 7 pockets; 1 on left sleeve, 1 inside, 1 zipper pocket on chest, 2 slash pockets with suede trim and 2 big front pockets with Velcro closure. The size is not marked, however it fits a men’s medium. Laid flat, the exterior measures 24” pit to pit. Base of neck t hem is 39”. This coat exceeds the quality of the famous modern Canadian brands. It has one 1/2” faint smudge on the front panel, and a few stray threads caught on the Velcro. Otherwise this coat is in excellent as-new condition. It will not disappoint you. New to Poshmark?
