Vintage BOMA Inuit Seal Hunter with Seal Figurine, Vancouver Canada Indigenous

This indigenous Canadian art figurine features an Inuit seal hunter carrying a caught seal on his back. He wears an Inuit caribou skin parka 'qulittuq' with the fur to the outside. The hood is up as he gratefully trudges home through the bitter wind to his small community in the Canadian Arctic. He will share his catch with his neighbors. Nothing will be wasted. The figurine is based on an original Inuit design recreated by the BOMA Mfg in cast resin and finished by hand. It was made at their design, research, development and production facilities in North Vancouver, British Columbia in 1980s. The BOMA's finely manufactured products, including unique handmade artwork, are renowned for their exceptional quality and design integrity. The BOMA CANADA logo is impressed into the side of the base. The figure is approximately 4 1/2 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches across. Excellent condition
