Vintage BeRo Metallic Design First Nations Indigenous Wall Art These are works by Canadian artist Bernhard Rohne These electroplated and acid-etched metalworks depict West Coast Haida First Nations Indigenous Totems and Longhouses. The background is mostly of reds, greens, and yellows. Both pieces are very finely signed and dated May 1986 with BeRo Metallic Design logo. The first one titled ‘Raven Pole” is double signed, “GMAbrams-Lytton”, for Georgina Marie Abrams-Lytton (1914-1981), seen inside the heart. Georgina was a Canadian painter who depicted West Coast-themed art. The second one is titled “Thunderbird and Longhouse” Stanley Park, Vancouver Both have a description on the back. There are some marks and imperfections within the metalwork seen at certain angles, as shown. Each gold tone brushed metal frame measures approximately 11 1/2” x 8 1/4” x 3/4” deep The frames are in very good condition. Great pieces to add to a collection. Selling as a pair.
