Vintage Beaver Ladies Bowler/Derby Hat

Stunning bowler style hat in fine beaver fur. Lighter than you’d imagine as it is actually a combed felt made from the fur of the beaver and does not incorporate the pelt or skin. Bowler rim is wired so different shapes can be achieved. Another piece from my favourite, fashion/social maven aunt. Alas her head was smaller than mine. According to Aunt it was custom ordered through Simpson’s late 50s. Head band measures 21” but would fit smaller as there’s an easement band. Gros grain bow. Perfect condition. Worn seldom if at all. No issues.
