Vintage Bed Jacket by CLASSIC SILK UNDERWEAR pink pastel

Sweet vintage bed jacket by CLASSIC SILK UNDERWEAR “The Loveliest Lingerie” (see tag) 😂 Soft pastel pink, fabric covered buttons and white lace trim. No material tag but feels like a poly cotton blend. Very light. Scoop neck, 3/4 sleeves, one patch pocket on right side. Probably from the 60s, but could be earlier. “A bed jacket is a short, below bust or waist length jacket specifically intended be worn in bed while sitting up. Worn over the nightgown, the bed jacket can be found in a wide variety of fabrics and treatments. It is most likely derived from 19th combing jackets, and was popular into the early 1960s.” Size M Approx measurements: Shldr to shldr 14.5” Pit to pit 20.5” (below gathering) Pit to cuff 10.25” Pit to hem 10” Back 18.75” Very good vintage condition. Two tiny spots less that the size of a pinhole at back left side; small mark right shoulder. Have not tried to remove any of them.
