Vintage Bendix 13 Jewel Mechanical Nurses Watch Fob- Bow stamped STERLING SILVER

This is a beautiful, true vintage 1950s Bendix 13 Jewel nurse's watch. The bow brooch / pin section is clearly stamped 'Sterling' for Sterling Silver. The watch is set in a silver-tone triangular frame, and is designed to be worn as a brooch - featuring a bow at the top with a pin for attachment. This is an analogue mechanical watch, and requires winding regularly to keep time. At time of testing, the winding mechanism works, and the watch ticks over beautifully! This would make a lovely graduation/retirement gift for a Nurse, PSW or healthcare worker - or just a nice collectible for those who appreciate quality brooches or mid-century modern jewelry time pieces. This is approximately 70-80 years old, and as such, may display some areas of expected wear to the dome - but nothing that detracts from it's working use or beauty. I do not clean my silver or vintage jewelry, as to keep the original patina of the piece that has developed over the decades. You, of course, may choose to clean or shine this up to your taste!
