Vintage Birks Italian Silver Fancy Handcrafted Necklace with Silversmith Stamps

Vintage Birks Italian Sterling Silver Handcrafted Chunky Fancy Necklace with Silversmith Stamps. The necklace features a Double Curb Link design with a secure clasp. It measures approx 18 inches in length and weighs 29.9 grams. The chain links are uniformly sized and well-constructed. The clasp shows minor surface wear consistent with prior use. No other significant imperfections are visible. The metal displays a bright, silvery luster. The Birks hallmark is clearly visible on the clasp, as well as Silversmith Stamps indicating an Italian Silversmith. Likely circa late 1970s, thus the Lobster clasp. As this piece is handcrafted, there is some nonconforming puddling near the clasp ends (pictured).
