Vintage Black Lacquered Wood Jewelry Box, Lacquerware Japanese Jewellery Storage

This is a lovely vintage jewellery box that is Lacquered wood with etched brass hinges. There are water birds and water lilies or lotus flowers. The brass closure at the front is missing one loop latch, but the other is still there, so you could add a padlock. The brass has some lovely patina. Inside is lined in red velvet. There is some light wear, scratches and some small chips on the edges from age and use, adding to the character of this lovely piece. This would make a beautiful gift, would look great on your dresser, bedside table, or as part of your bookshelf styling. 7.5” wide 3.5” tall 6.25” deep
