Vintage Black Satin Floral Embroidered Handbag - Birks, Made in France - 1940s

Here I have an exquisite black satin floral embroidered evening bag circa 1950s. The bag was made in France by Birks. The floral embroidery is intricate and beautiful. The gold metal frame and chain are in great condition. The clasp shows some patina around the edges but minimal and the closing function works well. The interior champagne satin lining with side pouch is in perfect clean condition. Labelled Birks, Maded in France. The purse measures 8" wide and 5.5" tall.
