Purchased at The Looking Glass in NDG , Montreal in 1978, full length boho style Kuchi design colorful 100% made in Afghanistan.
Full length 51"
Shoulder to shoulder 17"
Armpit to armpit 17"
Waist 15"
It has a side zipper which is 9" long along the left side under the armpit.
The 100% cotton material has some natural wear in the hand made stiching on the hem and also some color discoloration on the brownish/ purple material where it has faded in sections where the material folds.

when i was little my mum had a very similar dress! hers had billowier sleeves but the same stitching detail, same fabric prints and colours, similar yoke and large patchwork.
this is BEAUTIFUL! what a nice walk down memory lane!
