📌 Vintage Brass Bright Cut Engraved Holy Water Bucket - 19th Century

Vintage Brass holy water bucket, also called an aspersorium, measures 10 1/2" to top of handle, base is 6 5/8", diameter at top 5" Baluster shape, with swing handle, on pedestal base. The vessel is nicely engraved with bright cut designs, flowers, leaves, and arches, with flared lip has two bands on the outside. Has a good weight, very substantial quality. Made in India Has not been cleaned, has nice soft patina. These were used in churches to carry holy water which was sprinkled by the priest. Pricing is very fair as others like this have sold for $173.00 🇺🇸
