Vintage Brocade Coat

Beautiful rare piece from Montreal coutourier Ingrid Michèle. Shimmery copper background with black/brown floral print. No size tags but would guess fits L/XL (p-p 22”). This is a fabulous vintage 1950s (possibly 60’s) brocade coat featuring a round collar and closes with a large matching button at the centre neck and a hook/eye. The coat is made in a below-the-knee length. It has above-the-wrist length raglan style sleeves and is lined with a black viscose fabric. No size is indicated, and although this 1950s brocade coat should fit a large or extra large size, please rely on the photographed measurements for fit. This beautiful coat is in excellent condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains, odour or other defect - this looks to have seen little use and was well cared for over the years. This is an exceptional 1950s brocade coat - quality fabric, very sturdy, sure to be noticed!
