Vintage Burgundy Parker 51 Aerometric (RARE):

Vintage, in very excellent physical and mechanical condition. I purchased from an Etsy seller in the UK in Dec 2024. Made in England. Comes with the original faux croc embossed pen box. Ink sac is still flexible, feed & 14K gold Medium nib flows well. Pen body has a few light scuffs here and there but is in fantastic condition, when I bought it a few months ago it still had the chalk marks on it. The cap has a small scratch to the top right of the clip and a small brown spot to the left of the arrowhead, which are very minor cosmetic blemishes. This pen is approx. 65 years old and it still looks and performs as well as the day it was made. These vintage Parker 51 have a reputation for being extremely reliable even though they are half a century (or more) old. **IF you are not a serious pen collector please do your research on how coveted these Parker 51 pens are, I have it listed at a reasonable price, and will lose money at this list price, so don't waste my time with low offers, thanks. This is the same model that Queen Elizabeth II preferred to use, a quick google will show that this was her favorite pen. She used black Parker Quink ink with it. So did I. Reason for sale, despite being such a legendary collector's pen, is that I dislike the color... My pen collection consists of black and silver pens, but I've always wanted a burgundy/wine color pen. Now that I've lived with one for a few months, I still prefer the masculine appearance of a black pen.
