Vintage Burmese Lacquerware Bowl, Green Lacquer with 8 Zodiac Animals, Display

This is a beautiful shallow lacquerware bowl from Myanmar (Burma). Burmese lacquerware is coveted due to it's rich colors and exquisite detail. This particular bowl is a gorgeous shade of celery green and has the 8 animals are of the Burmese zodiac around a central tree of life motif. Incredible texture and detail throughout this piece. Measurements: 12" diameter x 2 3/8" tall. Condition: One small area where the lacquer is chipping off the wood on the side. Not visible from the front. See photo.
