Vintage C&A Pleated Snakeskin Pattern Top

This vintage top by C&A is made of 100% polyester with a black and grey snakeskin pattern and was made in England. The top has long sleeves and a very low v neckline front with a black inner layer that is rounded and much higher, providing some modesty. There are 3 pleats on either side of the front that go from the shoulder down to the belly button where they meet and overlap. There is a 2-button opening with a hook & eye on the left for extra security, and at this level the body of the shirt comes in and then flares out a little bit. There is normal wear, but no issues affecting wearability. Based on the thickness of the fabric, this would more like be a blouse than a sweater. I have a jacket by Cocktail Montreal listed that looks like what an intergalactic president would wear. I mention this because this top gives me a similar vibe, like this would be what the intergalactic equivalent of a first officer would wear. It has VERY cool vibes. This piece is marked as a (vintage) size 42 and measures like a (modern, North American) size 6/8. Based on trying it on, I think it would be a better fit if you have an average or slightly larger than average chest size.
