Vintage CMC Goodrich M.M Tie Pin

Tie pin is in good used condition made by CMC Pin is gold tone with spring jaw backing, features a hanging chain with center emblem with "Goodrich M.M" crest. Painting on crest is still in great shape but the gold tone around it shows age ware, light surface scratches are present given its age and from general use. See photos for measurements I don't know much else about this Tie Pin other than it was purchased by my grand father and found prior to my Grandmothers estate sale. Questions?
