I tried to research the history on this piece, but I cannot pin down anything specific. All I know is that this is a black wool (satin lined) Canadian military jacket that was tailored by Claude W. Vincent "Specialist in Military Uniforms" in Dartmouth Canada. The jacket is a tuxedo style with notched lapels, double breasted gold accent buttons (3 different types) and front slit pockets and inside hidden pockets. There is a "Canada" crest pressed into the arm (very difficult to photograph), and the jacket is definitely cropped. The jacket comes to points in the front, and a back center point. My suggestion is a small male, medium women size.
In excellent shape, there is a couple of small marks on the collar. As well, there are 3 different types of gold buttons. The smaller ones do have some wear to the gold. The "Canadian" butttons are in excellent condition. Also notice that the top right lapel button is a "Canadian" marked button, unlike the one across from it. I point it out as they are slightly different sizes. Please see all the pictures for details. A fantastic military style jacket for any gender. Super heavy, excellent quality piece.
Measurements:
Chest: 40"
Length: 18" (seam), 23" (at points)
Sleeve length: 24"
Waist (at hem): 34"
This comes from a cat lover's household and has not been laundered/dry cleaned.

What's the length? I'm confused if it is 18 or 23.

@hkadu the side seam is 18 inches but if you measure from the collar to the tip of the point on the front by the buttons it’s 23 inches. That’s why I call it a tuxedo style because it has the front points. Hope this helps.

You keep declining my offers? Do you have a counteroffer or just decline? 72.00 is a lot of money for that jacket…

@jasminemarjanov I decline unreasonable offers. The jacket is vintage, super heavy and beautifully made. It’s worth $72.

@ctomyn if you decide to go lower let me know. I bought one here with the gold ribbons on it in mint condition from 1959 for 50.00 so I didn’t think I was being unreasonable. Sorry about that! Have a great day !
