Statement skirt with a bold abstract print in teal, tomato red, orange, rust, and grey-brown tones. Designed by Vicki Bardon, a Canadian designer based in Nova Scotia and known for her unique, artful pieces (purchased in early 1990s in her flagship boutique in beautiful Mahone Bay).
This vintage maxi has a timeless cut with a painterly, almost tribal-meets-modern-art feel. Current Fall 2025 runways (Ferragamo, Marni, Bottega Veneta) are reviving bold, colorful prints — making this skirt right on trend again.
Knackmixing ideas:
Turn this skirt into a showstopping boho-chic look by pairing it with layered necklaces and stacked bracelets -as seen on the runways previewing this Fall fashion- in colours to pick up the print’s vibrant palette
Pair with boots, sandals, or a sleek blazer for an artsy vibe that works year-round.
Details: Buttons at front (faux wood), elastic waistband at back (14.75” flat → 16.25” expanded), two side pockets.
Feels like rayon (no label). Dry cleaning.
Condition: Excellent vintage.
A versatile maxi statement skirt — collectible, travel-ready (because of its many colours, sources of different moods), an original vintage piece still very “now”.
