Vintage Carnelian Scarab Brooch Sterling Silver

Cool vintage scarab brooch carved from a carnelian and set in a mix of sterling silver and gold fill. Reddish orange colour. Stamped "Symmetalic" and "Sterling 1/20 14k" on the back (which means gold filled — which is a thicker coating than gold plated). Maker's mark etched on the back. Excellent condition with some patina.
