Vintage Carole Little Brown Pleated Skirt

This vintage skirt by Carole Little has way more detail than I can fit into a title. Starting at the top, the skirt has a brown velvet/velour that is beaded all the way around with brown beads. There is a side zip and hook & eye closure. The lower part of the skirt is a VERY pleated plaid in brown tones, and it falls to around the ankle. This skirt is in good condition, but there are some loose threads around the top beading. I've avoided using pant hangers on this piece to prevent ugly indents. I'll be honest, at first I didn't really see the appeal of this skirt because it's just so... brown. Once I tried it on, I felt very, very silly. The fit and flow were much better than I expected, and I've actually never felt so good wearing this colour. This skirt taught me a little lesson about the importance of giving new things a fair chance. This piece is marked as a size 4 and it fits true to size.
