Vintage Caroler Choir Girl Christmas Candle Holder Home Hobbyist Ceramic Painted

Vintage ceramic Christmas caroler candle holder. Made from a mold and sold blank, this was hand painted by a hobbyist. Signed 'Gertrude' at base and dated '79. Stands approx. 8.5". Please note that the girl's hair is a very difficult yellow to photograph. I have included one shot of the item taken in natural light, but brightness and tone will vary according to screen. Piece is vintage, used and has wear. Marks, uneven paint application, and possible surface scratches throughout. Unpainted base is smudged, scuffed and marked. Small chips to paint, showing white in areas. Back of neck has dark lines where darkening has occured in crevices. Resembles a crack at first glance, but is just darkening. Fade to colours in spots. Has been lightly cleaned, darker areas appear to be maker-made. Candle will need to be held in place by melted wax or candle adhesive for a safe burn.
