Vintage Carved Green Bakelite Belt Buckles Art Deco

Two beautiful green vintage bakelite belt buckles. The larger one is carved and measures a shade under 7.5 cm wide and 6.25 cm high. The smaller buckle measures 2.5 cm wide by 2.5 cm high. Both test positive for bakelite using Simichrome polish. Please note that I used Novus #1 Plastic Clean and Shine and Novus #2 Fine Scratch Remover to remove some of the patina from the smaller buckle to see if there would be a true lighter color underneath. However, areas of this buckle still test positive with Simichrome. I have not used any products on the larger buckle, so who knows what gorgeous shade lies beneath! I can only guess as to it's decade of origin, 1930s to 1950s? There may be slight color variation depending on your monitor display.
