Vintage Cast Iron Black Horse Hitching Post

This cast iron piece is 8.6 lbs, and it is from my Peruvian neighbors estate. During their time in Peru, the boys used to dive for food and picked up many artifacts. These pieces have been on shelves for 40 years. I haven't been able to verify if it was picked up on a beach or if it was from their town.
