Vintage Ceramic “Birch Bark” vase, Holland, Lore Beesel Modernist Dutch Pottery

A vintage pottery vase/cylinder probably dating from the 1950s-60s.

A decoration known as ‘birch bark’ or ‘travertine’ which was often used in Dutch pottery of the time. A beautiful vintage birch bark vase from Loré Beesel ceramics from Reuver, municipality of Beesel, Limburg, Holland. Produced by Lore Beesel, Holland.

This vase has a great modernist shape and looks very striking. It is almost as if it were made out of concrete, and would look great in an industrial style interior.
