Vintage Ceramic Butter Dish with Cover

This butter dish could be used for butter that comes in individual sticks or for a block of cheese. It is stamped on the back "Oven Proof" and U.S.A. The bottom measures almost 8 inches in length and the width is 3 inches. There are no chips, cracks or grazing.
